I would like to wish everyone a happy and healthy holiday season and New Year. As we begin 2009, our office will be experiencing significant changes, which will be of great benefit to you, my patients. I am very excited to inform you that I will be moving my practice from the current location to a location near Route 29 and Randolph Road, in Silver Spring (2415 Musgrove Rd #309, Silver Spring, MD 20904). I have been searching for an office that is conveniently located, with plenty of convenient parking spaces, and that offers the amenities of a professional building. Besides a convenient location, I have also considered the benefits my patients will enjoy from using the new technologies now available in dentistry. These added features include high-tech dental equipments and digital x-ray equipment with a panoramic machine for a thorough imaging and more computerized setting. In addition to enhancing our ability to serve patients, we will now have Monday to Friday hours, more hygiene days and later hygiene hours, better coverage during vacation times, and so forth.

I will be merging my practice with another dentist, Dr Steven Parker. Dr Parker and I share similar philosophies and concepts regarding the delivery of preventive and restorative dentistry. We believe that it is possible to deliver high-quality dental care using a more modern instrumentation in a friendly and patient-centered manner. He has more than 35 years in dentistry as a clinician, mentor, US Army Dental captain, past president of The Academy of General Dentistry MD chapter, and past president of the Maimonides Dental Society. His experience reflects his commitment to excellence in the profession and gives him a unique sensitivity toward the practice of dentistry. This means that you will still receive the same superior standard of care to which you have become accustomed.

In closing, I want to thank all of you for the many years of friendship and loyalty that you have shared with me. I look forward to seeing each and every one of you at the new location. My entire staff (Evie, Amy, and Margarita) will be there to greet and care for you unless you are scheduled to come in the spring break; in that case, you will have the opportunity to meet Dr. Parker and our new full-time dental hygienist Sunita. Because of family obligations, Amy will be available only 1 day per week. Sunita has been working as a dental hygienist in Dr. Parker’s office for almost 4 years. She is no stranger to that office, having worked there during college and hygiene school. She therefore shares the same philosophy and commitment to quality dentistry and patient care.
